Do you do full-time development work?
Selectively. I take on projects that interest me or align with my expertise in AI-assisted development. If you have a straightforward WordPress site or basic web work, I'm probably not the right fit. If you have something technically interesting or want to build with modern AI-assisted practices, let's talk.
What technologies do you work with?
Modern web stack: HTML/CSS/JavaScript, static site generators, Cloudflare (Pages, Workers, R2), serverless architectures, Git-based workflows. For AI tools: Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and custom agentic setups. I avoid bloated frameworks and prefer clean, maintainable code.
Can you train my team on AI tools?
Yes. I help teams establish consistent practices for AI-assisted development. This includes tool selection, workflow design, prompt engineering for code, and review processes. Written documentation and async training work better than live sessions for technical material.
What's your background?
25+ years in web development. I've built and run multiple online businesses (HawaiiGuide, GardenandBloom, GroveTop). The last year has been focused on AI-assisted development—I've rebuilt my entire practice around these tools. I write about this regularly in The Logs.
