Hi, I'm John Derrick. This website is my slice of the web... my web side.

I follow my bliss. I'm a Web Developer and Entrepreneur. I love the great outdoors - hiking, photography, tropical landscaping, etc. I love the tropics and good company to enjoy it with. I'm an avid fan of the Hawaiian Islands and I try to visit annually if I can.

I am extremely interested in psychology and love learning just about anything related to the human mind. To say I'm inquisitive would be an understatement, I have a thirst for knowledge and constantly seek out new information on just about anything that interests me. I'm fascinated by puzzles and abstract concepts... yes, I'm weird like that.

My busy mind also keeps me busy developing new projects - in the yard or online. I've spent most of the last decade of my life building my businesses into something I am very proud of. I've worked hard, and I've been very fortunate to have the success I've had. In the ten years I've run my businesses, I've never had a year that ended in the red - I have always ended in the black. And given the recession as of late, I'm very pleased with that fact. To date, 2009 and 2010, were actually my best years on the books yet.
